An advanced geologic topic, such as geophysics, carbonate petrology, seismic stratigraphy, biostratigraphy, advanced igneous and metamorphic petrology, volcanic processes, geochemistry, paleoecology, Quaternary geology, geostatistics, micropaleontology, vertebrate paleontology, paleobotany, marine geology, and rock mechanics. May be repeated for credit as topics change.
Prerequisite: Geology 250 and consent of instructor.
