200. Biology of the Cell

Provides basic understanding of the process of life and the universality of life processes at the molecular and cellular level. Four hours lecture and three hours laboratory. A strong background equivalent to one year each of high school biology and chemistry is highly recommended.

Prerequisite: satisfactory score on the Entry Level Mathematics examination.
