306. Oceans and Atmospheres for the Science Teacher

Basic concepts of oceanography as these relate to the classroom including seawater chemistry, ocean circulation, waves, tides, shores and shoreline processes and evolution of the sea floor. One hour lecture and six hours laboratory/field studies. Material and field trip fee required.

Prerequisites: Chemistry 304 and 305 or Physics 304 and 305.
