325. Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology

Description and genesis of igneous and metamorphic rocks, their mineralogic and chemical composition, internal structure, and mode of occurrence. Three hours lecture and six hours laboratory. Three, one-day field trips required. Formerly Earth Science 325.

Prerequisite: Geology 320. Prerequisite or corequisite: Chemistry 216.
