Honors and Awards
Departmental Honors
A graduating senior will be awarded departmental honors in geology after meeting the following requirements:
- A grade-point average of at least 3.5 in all geology courses, with a minimum of five geology courses taken at this university;
- Satisfactorily complete GEOL 595. Independent Study;
- Presentation of the results of the Independent Study to the Department or at a professional meeting.
